Engineering Through Mount Vepar
The Zenica Tunnel is a dual-tube tunnel under Mount Vepar on Corridor Vc, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s strategic motorway route to the Adriatic. The left tube is 3,475 m long, while the right is approximately 3,420 m. The breakthrough of the first tube was achieved in November 2021, and the project is scheduled for completion by 2023.
